“Very luxurious but unbearably uncomfortable; technologically up to date but the mattresses are as good as hay mats and the pillows are as if you were sleeping on wet sand. Bathrooms were also very distasteful; the seat of the toilet hit the sink at its maximum height, so it wouldn't stay, the whole bathroom was fairly small, the shower head was too low, and was also hanging, disconnected from the wall. It was an okay experience but there were too many things I disliked to be able to say it was worth the money.”

“The Benjamin is a little gem of a hotel. It was my first time staying here and after reading some of the reviews, I was worried about the room being clean or in good shape. But instead found a freshly renovated, beautifully appointed and spotless room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and there is even a mini kitchen area with a coffee machine, microwave and sink. I have stayed in numerous four or even five star hotels in NYC, where apart from the rooms often being shoe boxes, they are not very clean or well maintained. The Benjamin exceeded expectations and I also so appreciated how courteous and professional all the staff is. It was a lovely stay and I will be back. Thank you.”
