“Located right on the bank of the river at the edge of the former International Concessions, the St Regis in Tianjin is at an amazing location. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. - as you would expect. Service, however, is not what you expect at a St Regis, at least not consistently. Some of the staff members were world class. Others...far from it. Check in was slow - painfully so - even though I was the only person checking in at the time. It felt very disorganized. Calls to the one touch service line did not always yield the predicted or desired results. The staff in the restaurants, by contrast, were uniformly fantastic and attentive. Breakfast was a good mix of Western, Eastern, and Tianjin specialties. Had it not been a St Regis it would have scored a five. As it was, though, it didn’t feel like it was up to the St Regis standard.”

“Definitely one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at. Location is great, service too. The rooms look luxurious but also like they’ve been used for a while. Bed is very comfortable nonetheless.”
